Iniscealtra Festival of Arts - Mountshannon, May 26th to the 3rd June 2013.
The Mountshannon Arts Festival is an annual festival held at various locations in and around the beautiful lakeside village of Mountshannon in County Clare. The official Opening Ceremony and a night of music and celebration is on Saturday 26th May and the festival continues on through the Bank Holiday weekend, finishing on Monday 4th of June. Visual and Performance art exhibitions, Theatre, Film, Green Fair, Craft and Art activities and a variety of workshops open to all including dance and painting classes. Free outdoor lakeshore concerts, storytelling, puppetry, demonstrations and participatory activities for all the family. More info at www.iniscealtra-artsfestival.org

A packed calender of events is promised. From cultural, historical, musical and sporting to a full scale medieval re-enactment camp.

Mirror Worlds Sailing Championship - 27th July to the 2nd August
This is the first World Sailing event ever to be held in Irish inland waterways. As well as welcoming Mirror dinghy sailors from all over Ireland, LDYC looks forward to welcoming sailors from the UK, Sweden, Canada, Australia, China and South Africa to Dromineer, to participate in the event.
